Who we are

Personal Fitness Netherlands was started more than 15 years ago by physiotherapist Jos Vermeer in

collaboration with his wife, weight consultant Petra Vermeer and colleague Giel Verberne. Within

the concept, three pillars are central: nutrition, exercise, and mental coaching. The accessible

method in a small, simple space immediately caught on. There are now approximately 90 locations

of promotions in the Netherlands and there is still a lot of room to grow with new, enthusiastic

franchisees.

Full-service business model

At Personal Fitness Netherlands you are never alone. As a franchisee at Personal Fitness Netherlands, you immediately use a further developed business concept that allows you to guide approximately 50-70 customers.

The franchisees are always in direct contact with the owners of the franchise formula. The lines are short and that makes it a dynamic formula with a personal approach.

There is a lot of attention for further development of the concept, but also for you as an entrepreneur. For example, there are monthly training facilities for franchisees and you always have direct access to the e-learning program that helps you in your daily work.

Personal Fitness Netherlands is also very active in the field of marketing. Customer acquisition is very important for the success and continuity of your studio. Together you are stronger and so we are committed to this together.

In addition, Personal Fitness Netherlands advises its franchisees on future choices, such as whether or not to hire staff and how to achieve growth objectives.

Our locations

Personal Fitness Netherlands can establish itself in many different locations. We are often located at business parks, but also at sports centers, multi-office buildings, old bank offices, clusters of physio and general practitioner practices, and even in shopping streets. The zoning plan of your location is important in this, so we will find that out together with you, the landlord, and your municipality. This is where you get help.

Profile

The backgrounds of our franchisees vary widely. That is why we are not looking for one specific entrepreneur profile. Many of our entrepreneurs come from education, hospitality, or services.

An education or work experience in sports is, of course, a nice bonus, but not the most important thing for us. After all, we will teach you everything about the guidance and coaching of our Fit for Life program. So you have to be a bit eager to learn.

It is very important that you have a lot of energy and enthusiasm. You also have to be fit and like to work with your customers every day to achieve their goals.

In addition, you must of course have a healthy, commercial attitude in order to master entrepreneurship properly.
